With a BS from Duke, and an MBA from Western Carolina University, I've spent almost 40 years working to make small businesses in Western North Carolina better. I've worked at - and helped run - an insurance and financial services firm, a window & door retailer, a natural foods importer/wholesaler, a local personal computer manufacturer, and a natural foods co-op. In each business, I've used my position as President, Office Manager, General Manager,

or in-house Accountant to move the business forward and make it more efficient and profitable.
